GHO Annual Report: Connection, Coaction, Change
With the goal of advancing McMaster University’s international reputation and visibility, the GHO collaborates with all schools and departments in the Faculty of Health Sciences to support global activities.
The 2014-2015 Annual Report, titled Connection, Coaction, Change, highlights key activities from the last year, including the GHO’s participation in the Dutch Higher Education mission and state visit to Canada by Their Majesties King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima of the Netherlands.
The report includes details about capacity-building initiatives, global partnerships, international delegations, grant and contract submissions, relationships with embassies and heads of state, as well as global health events and the Master of Science in Global Health program.
Dr. Andrea Baumann, V-P Global Health, says in her welcome message, “Through strong leadership and an unwavering commitment to improving health, both locally and globally, we have successfully extended our reach to partners and communities all over the world.”
