Coming soon! 2014/2015 Global Health Speaker Series
We are currently preparing for the upcoming annual Global Health Speaker Series 2014/2015, which invites experts from all over the world to speak about a variety of topics relating to global health. Confirmed speakers so far include Dr. Janneke Frambach, Visiting Scholar from Maastrict University, who will be talking about cross-cultural aspects of Problem-Based Learning in medical schools around the world.
We will also welcome Dr. Lubana Ahmed, Canadian Field Manager, and Mr. Stephen Collins, Project Director, for Human Resources for Health in Bangladesh Project (HRH) and Cowater International Inc. With the goal of improving maternal and neonatal health in Bangladesh, HRH Project is a partnership between Cowater International Inc., the McMaster University School of Nursing, Plan Canada and the Canadian Association of Schools of Nursing. In 2012, the partnership was awarded a five year grant from The Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA).
