Advancing Healthcare: Insights from a Fireside Chat with Dr. Jane Philpott

On May 31, the Department of Medicine & The Global Health Program at McMaster University Co-hosted the Honourable Jane Philpott, MD, former federal Minister of Health and current Dean of Faculty of Health Sciences and Director of the School of Medicine for Queen’s University (Kingston, ON) in a Fireside Chat alongside Dr. Sonia Anand, AVP Global Health.

Dr. Jane Philpott drew insights from her book, “Health for All: A Doctor’s Prescription for a Healthier Canada,” sharing many innovative ideas from her wide and diverse expertise and experiences. After a warm and deep discussion, Dr. Philpott engaged with attendees in a book signing.
