The Henry G. Friesen International Prize in Health Research 2023 Winner, Dr. Zulfiqar A. Bhutta to speak at McMaster University on February 27, 2024
The Henry G. Friesen International Prize in Health Research, established in 2005 by the Friends of Canadian Institutes of Health Research (FCIHR), recognizes exceptional innovation by a visionary health leader of international stature. The 2023 Friesen Prize winner, Dr. Zulfiqar Bhutta, is completing his series of lectures and will be visiting McMaster University on February 27, 2024 to present a talk titled, “A healthy future for the world’s children, within a generation: how can we make this happen?”
Dr. Bhutta is the Founding Director of the Institute for Global Health and Development and holds the Robert Harding Inaugural Chair in Global Child Health at the Hospital for Sick Children.
