Bridging Different Worlds, Day 2: Field Orientation Begins
The morning of April 18th marked the first day of the Field Orientation. Students and faculties from McMaster, Maastricht and Manipal university gathered at Dr. TMA Pai Hall to begin the event with an overview of the 2017 Global Health Symposium and the first day’s sessions.
A brief introduction of the students’ responsibilities for the next ten days, which included: participating in community visits, planning and conducting stakeholder interviews, preparing system maps, and addressing dilemmas that may be experienced while working in the field and future Global Health contexts.
