Bridging Different Worlds, Day 4: First Field Trip and Celebrating Indian Culture
Yesterday myself and the other students were given the opportunity to attend fieldtrips to locations relevant to our group clusters. Being part of the reproductive and child cluster, my group was assigned to an Anganwadi centre for our first fieldtrip and we were instructed to take an obervatory role and reflect on the setting and atmosphere of the location.
The whole experience made us feel extremely privileged to be allowed to view the inner workings of an organisation that promotes child and maternal nutrition whilst gaining an insight into their role at a local level.
