Bridging Different Worlds, Day 12: Group Interview and Reflections
The members of group 20 have been so happy working together. They exclaim “I just love my group”. They started off working as a group on the first day of the symposium and felt like a family. They said it was fun and exciting. They just didn’t need an ice breaking session, didn’t need to set rules; they were all happy to contribute. Everyone was so supportive and were amazed as to how they were able to share such strong group dynamics. They would get work done in a short span of time and didn’t need to sit for hours. Although, everyone was busy, the group made an effort to make a nice social aspect.
Upon being asked about their experience to India, one of them claimed, “I have been waiting to come to India and I’m glad I’ll have many more weeks here to discover.” She also quotes Shantaram cornily in that, “The simple truth about India and Indian people is that when you go there, your heart always guides you more wisely than your head. There’s nowhere else in the world where that is quite so true.”
