Co-Director of Joint Global Health Program Anja Krumeich Appointed Full Professor
Maastricht University’s Executive Board has appointed Anja Krumeich Full Professor of Translational Ethnographies in Global Health and Education, a chair position that will be embedded within the Department of Health, Ethics and Society.
Alongside Andrea Baumann, Associate V-P, Global Health, Krumeich has been instrumental in the success of the joint Master of Science in Global Health program offered by McMaster and Maastricht universities.

“This is a very well deserved appointment,” says Baumann, who has worked with Krumeich since the Global Health program’s inception in 2010.
Krumeich’s research interests include social differentiation, health and diversity, health and culture and health and poverty.
